Fast Vessel Charters Ltd was established in 2011. Since then we have operated five Redbay Stormforce cabin RIBs, along with several other vessel types.
Our flagship vessel is a new Redbay Stormforce 10.5m commercial grade cabin RIB, with twin engines and 12-person capacity. All Fast Vessel Charters skippers and crew are professionally qualified for commercial operations.
Company owners Barry Johnston and Norman Brass have many decades’ experience of of working at sea in the often challenging conditions found around the Orkney Islands. They have been long-serving crew members of the local all-weather RNLI Lifeboat.
Fast Vessel Charters is the preferred supplier for all charters to the offshore oil and gas rigs when stationed in Scapa Flow, and we have safely undertaken hundreds of offshore crew transfers working for Prosafe Ltd (owner of offshore accommodation rigs).
Our charter vessel cabin RIBs are available for charter over the entire Orkney Islands archipelago. We are primarily based out of Stromness Marina.
As well as oil and marine industry work we are also available for other commercial and private charters and bespoke transport to the tourist industry.
Our prices currently range from £125-£175 per hour, including skipper and fuel. Minimum hire charges may apply. Please contact us to confirm availability and costings.
